LET'S TALK ABOUT THE TIGER ON MY SHIRT .......

Let's talk about the tiger on my shirt.....
I've been searching for month for the right shirt with a huge tiger print on it and a few weeks ago I finally found a bathing suit with the perfect print. Why not kill two birds with one stone and have a bathing suit and a shirt in one ;)
The perfect way to rock such a printed shirt (well,in my case it's actually a bathing suit) is to combine it with non colors. I decided to go with black and literally wore it from head to toe.

FOR THE HOME - Insight into the living room

I decided to give you a brief glimpse at M's flat, well, actually it's our flat. As you might have noticed, I'm always commuting between Vienna, Carinthia and during summer also Italy, so that's why I'm more or less living out of the suitcase. So M and I don't really have a main residence, but this is the place where we spent most of the time together. We both love it puristic and airy, so the main colors in the flat are white, silver and gold.
That's the current decoration in the living room, as I love to redecorate my flats, the whole interior accessories change quite often. I really love to incorporate fresh flowers into my home. Whether I pick up some blooms from the yard, buy a pre-arranged bouquet or arrange my own bouquets, I always try to keep  fresh flowers around.
The current arrangement of the living room, combines a masculine and feminine style we both feel comfortable with throughout the summer months.
What's my favorite corner of the living room?
Of course, the golden chair with my magazines and the golden Chanel N°5 print by I See Noise Prints ;)
PILLOWS - NY Lounge: H&M Home / Striped: Ikea / Light beige: Slama
DECORATION TASSEL - Zara Home
WHITE BOXES - Ikea
GOLDEN CHAIR & SILVER BOX TABLE - Both vintage and a DIY makeover
CHANEL N°5 PRINT - I See Noise
POCKET WATCH - Vintage

RED LIPS

Finally, I'm back with my last outfit post from my vacation in Tuscany.
You can see me wearing the same T-Shirt a few posts before, but in a different combination.
After spending the whole last day of our vacation in bed because of the flu, I picked myself together for our last dinner in Castellina, so this casual yet chick outfit was the perfect choice.
As I love the combination of red, white and gold in summer, I definitely prefer this combination.
Which combination do you like ?

Travel Diary - FIRENZE

As I'm really accident-prone, I got sick after our trip to Volterra, just in the middle of our vacation. My body  just might not be used to a few exercise free and relaxing days. So I was down with the flu from day 4 of our stay in Tuscany. Well, staying in bed when you are on holiday isn't really the best idea, so I pulled myself together for our trip to Florence.
Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the city is noted for its history, culture, Renaissance art, architecture and monuments. The city is worldwide know as ''the city of Renaissance'', the best-known site of Florence is the domed cathedral of the city, Santa Maria del Fiore, known as The Duomo, whose dome was built by Filippo Brunelleschi. Of course we also visited the Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria with the replica of Michelangelo's David, the famous Ponte Vecchio with its many jewelers shops , Palazzo Pitti - the Medici residence (you all should have learned about this powerful family at school, do you remember ;) ?), Boboli Gardens and all other important sights.
I can tell you guys, walking many kilometers trough this wonderful city with the flu, fever-bright and 38° in shade wasn't a perfect idea, but totally worth it.
Florence is also the home of some luxury italian fashion brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo and Gucci, which are also headquartered in this wonderful city.
It goes with out saying, that we had to visit the Gucci Museo, including a wonderful flagship store, a book shop and a bar. (Yes, I also bought a few things, but mainly presents)
While walking through the main shopping street,Via de' Tornabuoniwhere all the luxury boutiques are located, something really unusual for me happened, I didn't even want look into the shop windows, far less to enter one of the shops. My boyfriend just couldn't believe his eyes, and that was the moment he knew, I was really sick.
Nearly totally dehydrated (although I drank lots of water), exhausted and with high temperature I fell into my bed that evening.

Travel Diary - Lost my heart in Tuscany

On our way to Volterra, another breathtakingly beautiful small town, I saw this magical sunflower field, alongside a small country road. The perfect place for a shooting. The beauty of the landscape, in combination with the sunflowers and the cured grass harmonised together perfectly. I can tell you guys, I would have never thought to loose my heart in such a landscape, as I'm normally a total sea enthusiast.
Well, to cut a long story short, I fell in love with this peaceful and unique landscape.
I think my classy yet chic outfit matched the landscape perfectly on that day, what do you think?

TRAVEL DIARY - from SIENA with love ♥

Siena definitely is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. This wonderful city is full of unique architectural treasures, from the famous Piazza del Campo (you can see in the picture above), which is shell-shaped to the wonderful Duomo (Sienna Cathedral), which is the most beautiful building I've ever seen. You all might have heard of the famous Palio di Sienna, a traditional medieval horse race run which takes place twice each year around the Piazza del Campo (on the 2nd of July and the 18th of August). This horse race is said to be one of the most dangerous ones and after seeing the shell-shaped Campo, I now can imagine how brutal this horse race must be for the riders and horses.

Travel Diary - TUSCANY - Day 2

When we travel, it's important for us to have a balance between relaxation and sightseeing. So after spending our first full day by the pool till the afternoon, we decided to visit San Gimignano in the evening.
San Gimignano is one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Tuscany and registered in the list of Unesco's worlds cultural and natural heritage. It's also called the medieval Manhattan, because of its many tower houses, which look like ancient skyscrapers. San Gimignano is a must see in Tuscany and beside Sienna, it's definitely one of my favorite towns.
When on holiday and sightseeing, it's important for me to dress comfortable and stylish. For this evening I chose a simple beige/black dress, a hat (my it-piece for my vacation) and my beloved Chanel bag.

Travel Diary - Tuscany - Day 1

It's time to show you guys, where I've spent the past week. As I told you before, my mister and I spent a dream vacation in wonderful Tuscany.
We both wanted to enjoy Tuscany at its fullest, so we decided to book a hotel in the famous Chianti region, in the middle of vineyards and olive groves. After a few days of research we found a lovely hotel in Radda in Chianti, a very picturesque (well, to be honest, all tuscan towns and cities are very picturesque) old town.
Our lovely historical hotel, Relais Vignale, is located in the center of Radda and totally impressed us with its charm, antiqueness and elegancy.
It's perfectly located near all important and must-see ancient tuscan cities and due to the pool, the wonderful view, and the heavenly food it's the perfect location for a relaxing and quite vacation.
We are back home now and I've so many pictures to show you.
Let's start off with some impressions from our hotel and our first evening in Tuscany ...
